Drugs Case: Petition filed against RGV

While Telugu Film Industry is reeling under the effect of drugs scandal, director Ram Gopal Varma has been continually making sensational comments against Excise Dept Director Akun Sabarwal and the Special Investigation Team (SIT). He also went on to criticize media for projecting Akun as a Baahubali. 
 
In the latest development, a court petition has been filed against the noted director for trying to obstruct & mentally destruct the investigation of SIT team. A lawyer named Rangaprasad has filed a complaint against RGV at Ranga Reddy court. He alleged that 'RGV has been trying to harm the progress of serious drugs case with his insulting comments on social media.'
 
In his petition Rangaprasad further stated that 'although RGV's name is not listed in drugs case, he's needlessly making all unwanted  and insulting comments which may bring down the confidence levels of SIT officers.'
 
'Since he tried to impede the duty of govt officers, director Ram Gopal Varma can be sentenced to jail for six months to two years under IPC 343 section,' said the petitioner while speaking to media.
