Director Rituparno Ghosh dies of cardiac arrest

Multiple award winning director from Bengal, Rituparno Ghosh died earlier today at his home in Kolkata because of cardiac arrest, he was 49. The director had made many national and international award winning movies. Entire Indian film community has been saddened by his sudden demise and everyone expressed their condolences to the director par excellence.

 
Rituparno Ghosh was predominantly a Bengali film director but he also made a couple of non Bengali films starring Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn (Raincoat) and Amitabh Bachchan (The Last Lear). Ghosh was known to handle the sensible, complex relationships between two individual with great depth and maturity. Many actors delivered their career best performances under the direction of Rituparno Ghosh.
