Balupu yields to Brahmins' pressure

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Balupu is facing the wrath of Brahmin community. Mr. Dronamraju Ravikumar, representative of the A.P. Brahmana Seva Sangha Samakhya, alleged that the trailer of ‘Balupu’ contained derogatory remarks against Brahmins. They have submitted a written complaint to the Censor board regarding the same. Director Malineni Gopichand however, refused such claims. “There is nothing objectionable, but since they are objecting, we will change the dialogues.” According to sources, producer has assured the Board that they will delete the controversial dialogues from the film.

The movie will complete its Censor fomalities on Monday and will hit the screens on June 28. Ravi Teja will be seen romancing Shruti Hassan in the movie. Anjali is one more heroine. The movie is being produced by Prasad V. Potluri under PVP cinemas banner. Thaman has scored the music.
