Nitin is one of the young heroes who made a mark on Telugu Cinema with youthful films like Jayam, Dil, Sye and the current musical waves Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe. He is an actor with a distinct style and became one of the first choices for youthful entertainers in Tollywood. Here is an iQlik exclusive interview with the hero:
The filming is completed and we want to release it as soon as possible. Depending on the situation in the state, we might go for a November release. The film came out very well and exceeded our expectations.
How do you feel to be acting in a film produced by the prestigious Gautham Menon’s banner?
I always admired Gautham Menon as a director and seriously wanted to act in one of his films. Though that did not happen, I am delighted to associate with him by acting in his production banner.
Is there any reason for the name Kalyan in your upcoming film Courier Boy Kalyan?
I am a huge fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and always considered using his name in my projects. When Pawan attended my film Ishq’s audio release- the film turned out to be a hit. We did a rehash of one of Pawan’s songs in my film Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindhe and it also became an industry hit. I am extremely happy and privileged to use his name in my upcoming film title as well.
Why was your lucky female co-star Nithya Menon not preferred for Courier Boy Kalyan?
We did think of Nitya Menon first and approached her but due to the non-availability of dates she couldn’t join our team. Yami Gautham- the heroine of this film is a sweet person and did a splendid job.
What about your upcoming projects?
I am busy working with Puri Sir’s Heart Attack and will be leaving for Spain tomorrow to finish a schedule.
