Star comedian Dharmavarapu Subramaniam is no more.

Dharmavarapu Subramaniam, one of the ace comedians of Tollywood has ever been blessed with, passes away shortly suffering from Brain cancer. He has been fighting Brain cancer from almost a year and has almost emerged a survivor. But unfortunately, he is seriously ill from about a couple of months. He passed away shortly in his residence at PNT Colony, Dilshuknagar, Hyderabad.

His last full-fledged character was in the movie Saradhaga Ammaitho (2013). He was born on September 20, 1959 in a village named Komminenivaripalem, Prakasam district and forayed into films at a very young age. He first appeared in Aanandobrahma, a comedy serial in DD Saptagiri film and his first film was Jandhyala’s  Bava Bava Panneeru (1989). He is best remembered by his characters in Mr. Pellam, Nuvvu-Nenu, Leela Mahal Center, Ready, Dookudu et al. 
 
He was not only a stupendous actor and comedian but active media personnel who served as a Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Cultural Association also. He considers Jandhyala as his cine guru and has directed a film named Thoka Leni Pittta starring Naresh. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
