Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s second installment Legend is all set for a grand release on 28th of March as per the producers’ prior announcement. The makers have gone for the censor review yesterday [25th March] and were not able to procure the final clearance from the censor board even after completing all the formalities.

As per the latest updates, Legend was reviewed by the censor board and gave got the “A” certificate for the violence episodes. Along with an Adult Rating, three major cuts were suggested and the producers have obliged for that too. But, the issue started when one of the board members Dhana Lakshmi started arguing about the film’s theatrical release date. She is unhappy about the producers’ announcement of release date even before getting the censor certification.

The censor board has asked the producers to come again on 26th March for another round of detailed counseling. So, it all depends on the producers whether than can get the censor approval for the film’s release or not!

And, coming to censor report - Legend is said to have come out really well with a right mix of emotional episodes, comedy sequences and challenging action scenes. The buzz around the movie is highly positive and we need to see whether the censor cuts will have an impact on the film.
