Rajinikanth Wants Jagapathi Babu In His Next?

April 27, 2014 - 01:05 PM IST Jagapathi Babu | Vikrama Simha

Rajinikanth’s Vikrama simha is gearing up for a grand release on May 9th and the film is carrying a positive report as of now. On the other hand, Rajinikanth will be acting in a new film in the direction of his favourite director KS Ravikumar from the month of June. Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha has been finalized as the heroine in this commercial entertainer and AR Rahaman might score the music for this film as well [Narasimha was this combo’s previous film].

And, the director is looking for a strong actor to emote the negative character in this film. As per the latest reports, Rajinikanth has suggested the name of Telugu hero Jagapathi Babu and the makers are inclined to cast him for the villain’s role. Rajini was impressed by JB’s work in the Telugu version of his Kuselan film [Kathanayakudu in Telugu] and the latest talk about his performance in Legend film is said to have worked in Telugu actor’s favour. Let’s see if this turns true and Jagapathi Babu gets a meaty role in Rajinikanth and KS Ravikumar’s film!

TRIVIA: Rajinikanth has given a similar character to senior Telugu hero Suman in his film Shivaji few years back. But, Suman has failed to convert the positive reviews into opportunities later on!
