We already know how YouTube has become a part and parcel of our lives. Be it our desktops, laptops, mobiles, tablets, or televisions – we can’t avoid watching YouTube videos on it. Started as a promotional medium, YouTube has become a major source of revenue for most of the producers and content publishers. And when it comes to Telugu films, the traffic has been on the rise ever since the official channels have started and uploaded the full length feature films.

When analyzed, we got to see that the film’s success has nothing to do with the video’s success on YouTube. For example, disastrous films like Komaram Puli has garnered around 1.3 million views until now and that too for a pirated version [original stays unreleased yet]. Even a flop like Romance [2013] has got around 9 lakhs of views. Along with Puli and Romance, many other flops and average films have managed to generate huge buzz on YouTube and thus mint money for the producer or video rights owner.

Digging deeper into the reports reveal that stylish star Allu Arjun and his films are quite a sensation on YouTube. For example: his Julayi has got some 1.1 million views for its Telugu version and around 3.1 million views for its Hindi version. Apart from that, his other films like Bunny [2.7 million views], Desamudhuru [1.8 million views], Happy [1.6 million views] were huge successes on YouTube. Growing fan base in languages other than our Telugu language might be the main reason for this huge craze for Allu Arjun’s videos.

Movies like Godavari [2.3 million views], Athadu [1.7 million views] and Solo [1.7 million views] were also huge hits on YouTube. And, Junior Ntr’s latest film Ramayya Vastavayya has got around 1.3 million views within 2 months of its upload, which itself is a record. Stay glued for more updates regarding this!
