-> Most of the film has been shot in real locations such as Chintapalli and Mannem Forests near Vishakhapatnam - Andhra Pradesh, in an era when many scenes of a film were shot in studios.

-> The film was made on a huge budget of Rs.25 Lakhs – which is very expensive for 70’s era.

-> Apart from the film based on a Freedom Fighter’s journey in life, Alluri Seetharama Raju as a film focuses on the human values, sentiment, and patriotism at an individual level - making it a perfect screenplay.

-> V.S.R.Swami’s excellent cinematography, and Tripurineni Maharadhi’s dialogues act as strong pillars for the film.  The exotic locations were greatly captured in the camera making it a great visual experience for the viewer.

-> Legendary poet Sri Sri won the national award for best lyricist for his great work in writing the song “Telugu Veera Levara…” from this film which topped the charts during the year 1974. Vasthadu Naa Raju, and Ragilindhi Viplavagni are other noted hits from this film.

-> Apart from phenomenal lead performance by Krishna, the film featured veteran actor Jaggaiah in the role of evil British gentleman named Rutherford. Many scenes involving the confrontation between Alluri Seetharamaraju and Rutherford were brilliantly conceived on the big screen.
