Gunasekhar Going Overboard On Set Expenditure?

Gunasekhar is one of the rare visionary geniuses of Tollywood. But, unfortunately he also bears a remark of being known as an ‘Art Director’ as he keeps it a point that he erects a new set worth crores for every film [Of course we know he mastered the art of filmmaking!] And he is now busy etching yet another classic Rudramadevi.

The first look of the movie has created enough buzz already and before the news of Anushka’s costly jewelry reached every nook and corner, there is yet another news regarding its ‘Art’ work. The film has over 12 different sets erected altogether worth almost Rs. 8-9 crores! Of course, it is a historical film and naturally huge sets are needed but such a whopping amount on art work alone is something that is bothering the cine pundits.

But before we can say anything, let us remind you it is National Award winner Art director Thota Tharani working for this film. So, he would be officially taking the film to a different plane altogether with his exotic sets that reflect the culture of the Kakateeya dynasty.

No wonder, the film shall be an out-of-the world experience for the viewer but is Gunasekhar assuming to be the ‘James Cameron of Tollywood’ and rather splurging over the art department alone? Well if Gunasekhar (the producer) is cool about it, why should anyone give a damn! (Just saying)
