After the bombing of Aadu Magaadura Bujji, Sudheer Babu is taking wary steps for his next. He is pairing with his hit pair lady Nanditha (PKC fame) for his upcoming remake of Kannada film Charminar.

Now according to latest reports, the film has been titled ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarinee’. Interestingly, this title has been chosen from ANR’s evergreen hit song “Nuvvaa Darini Nenee Darini…Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarnee” from Bangaru Bommalu (1977) starring ANR and Manjula.

The original version’s director Chandru will be directing the Telugu version as well and the music will be composed by a new artist named Hari. The film will be going onto the floors from June 2014. Sudheer Babu is currently acting in a new film Mayadari Malligadu and is completely involved in this project as of now. On the other hand, Nanditha hasn’t seen a release after PKC and is currently acting in a film titled Lovers [with Sumanth Ashwin].

As a routine, Sudheer Babu should be opting titles from Superstar Krishna’s hit songs/films but he has taken all the fans by surprise with this new title. This only proves that he is always story driven.

TRIVIA: Charminar was supposed to be remade with Naga Chaitanya as its hero. But, due to the dates issue, Chaitu has to back out of this project and it landed up with Sudheer Babu now!
