Ex-School Teacher Hears A lot About Nithiin

Today the industry is abuzz with the name ‘Mishti’ i.e., the new girl debuting through Nithiin’s upcoming film with Karunakaran that opened today.

“Mishti” – sweet…isn’t it? Yes it means “Sweet” in Bengali as well. And this Bengali beauty is born Indrani Chakraborty but Mishti has been her nickname right from her childhood. Interestingly, she used to teach English to X standard students in a Kolkata based school while one of her students was the daughter of a renowned Bengali documentary filmmaker Shobha Mitra who requested her to act in one of her documentaries. Before she debuted through Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi, she acted in a Bengali film Porichoy directed by Rupali Guha.

But, it is a well-known fact that Mishti became the face of the film Kaanchi and the film was intentionally promoted around her. So, naturally she came into the radar of the industry. Though the film was a dud at the box-office, love guru Karunakaran spotted the girl and here she is – roped in his upcoming film. Even Mishti is excited to be working with Nithiin and Karunakaran as she heard a lot about the duo and is very impressed with the story line as well.

Karunakaran is known for portraying his heroines as celestial beauties and Mishti is already one such beauty. So, how is he going to portray her? Let’s wait and see.
