It has been a great year for Sensational Music director Devi Sri Prasad so far with cracking hits like Legend and critically acclaimed 1-Nenokkadine. As usually producers are vying for him like ever before even after 15years of his entry.
Yes…it has been almost 15 years he started his magic with music. It was Devi in 1999 that turned Sri Prasad into “Devi Sri Prasad”. From composing tunes for college functions, a TV Serial called 50-50, he was actually shot to fame with a private album named ‘Mr. Devi’ and from then he never looked back.
He never forgot his roots and perhaps that is why, he is planning a new album with an innovative concept. Music is everywhere and in everyone. Some time back in the recent past, Devi happened to see a beggar near a beach in Chennai playing a music instrument so professionally. Impressed Devi even took his number it seems – that is in when he got an idea!
DSP now wishes to identify and gather 15 such talented instrument players in rags and make a video album with them. He has even started his own You Tube channel and is looking to promote exceptional albums like these. Cheers to his new idea!
