Venkatesh and Meena after delivering 4 super hits paired again after many years for family thriller Drushyam a remake to Malayalam film with the same title. After creating a good amount of hype, the film has finally hit the screens and it has received an overwhelming response. More than the entertainment quotient or the brand value of Venkatesh, Meena or Nadiya, the film is actually has an underlying message that is very important for the parents of today.

Those who have watched the film say parents who have growing boys should take them and show the film. Apparently, Drushyam shows what kind of friends boys should have, how they should behave when in public and how some acts they consider to be fun can lead to fatal consequences.

These days, technology and gadgets are playing an important role in the lives of youngsters so the film also has a message for parents to keep track of what their kids are up to. We have seen message oriented films in the past but Drushyam deals with something very contemporary and practical so hope the parents out there pay attention to it.
