Sensational Director Ram Gopal Varma seems to be disappointed with the media once again. It was TV9 few months back and now a movie website www.greatandhra.com is on his radar.

Ram Gopal Varma is said to be a movie genius and was a trendsetter till few years ago. He has delivered some of the cult classics like Shiva, Satya and Sarkar. But, he seems to have lost his magic touch and all his recent films have been box-office disasters.

Many of his ardent fans unable to digest par below standard films from their favorite director, have started criticizing him. One such fan happens to be an unknown person who has sent him the movie review of Ice Cream by a Telugu movie portal www.greatandhra.com.

This mail review has stirred up a controversy recently and the director Ram Gopal Varma threw an open challenge to the writer and invited him for a live debate about film making.

The director also said, it’s no one’s job to teach him about film making and he knows about the camera angles better than the one who criticized him. He expressed his displeasure over the review writers saying that a reviewer’s job is one which doesn’t need any qualification, if it’s a general opinion like a common movie goer, then everyone becomes a movie reviewer.

RGV further clarified that a film’s success is dependent on a simple factor, the amount spent on it and the amount recovered and as per the calculations, the film Ice Cream had collected the whole amount in the first day itself and said he’s not the one to get depressed by such writings and doesn’t even bother to care for them.

He concluded by saying, he wrote all this not because he is angry but he is irritated.
