'Sikindar' Songs Talk

August 02, 2014 - 03:06 PM IST Sikindar

After a long gap, Tamil star Suriya is back and this time he is arriving with his new movie Sikindar which is the dubbed version of his Tamil flick Anjaan. The audio release happened recently and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. With Suriya and Samantha in the lead, here is a look at what people have to say about the songs.

‘Bang bang bang…’ is the title song and though it starts off slowly it picks up momentum and maintains a consistent rhythm and melody to it, this one got good marks.

‘Thanu gorantha…’ is a moderate track with good melody but the background score could have been better.

‘Ek do teen char….’  is a mass track with melody and Raghu Kunche has rendered it with good feel.

‘Nene kani nenai undaga…’ is a number with a native tune and though the composition was alright it had a tinge of sadness in it,

‘Chirunavvey specialty…’ is more like an item song but with a sensuous feel to it. The fact that it has Bollywood actress Chitrangandha Singh in it adds to the eroticism.

Overall, the songs are high graded in melody.
