Lagadapati's Double Tension

August 09, 2014 - 11:58 AM IST Lagadapati Sridhar | Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini

It takes nerves of steel and an iron heart to be a producer in the film industry. This field is nothing short of a Russian roulette for the producers because the product is such that the result can go either ways. But still, the passion for the craft has made few men take the risks. One such person is Lagadapati Sridhar.

Over the years, Lagadapati Sridhar has focused on encouraging new talent and giving break to many aspiring individuals. But right now, he is caught up with two big tensions. Well, Lagadapati is releasing the film Sikindar a dubbed version of the Tamil flick Anjaan starring Suriya and Samantha. This is to release on August 15th so maximum publicity is required.

And he needs to ensure that collections must be of high scale. The second tension for him is his own production Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarni. The shooting is on and reached a crucial phase. All this apart, Sridhar’s biggest passion is tennis and he just can’t live without playing every day. Sources close to him reveal each day, Sridhar is at office up to 4 pm. From 4 pm – 7 pm he plays tennis, again at night he returns to office and retires late. But morning 10.30 am he is back to work and keeps brainstorming with his writers on both the projects. Well, these could be few pointers for other producers on how to involve and ensure the film becomes a success.
