When was the last time anyone has seen Naga Chaitanya in a jubilant mood? Probably, it’s been quite a long time. Though, his debut movie Josh hasn’t carried the expected 'josh', the next two films Ye Maya Chesave and 100% Love have put him on success streak. He has become the household name for romantic roles.

But, Chaitu wanted to get rid of the image and hence tried his luck as mass hero with films like Bezawada and Dhada. These two films flunked miserably at the Box Office and the lean patch continued till Thadaka happened, which gave him a huge sigh of relief.

The movie’s success followed by yet another super hit Manam where he was seen sharing the screen space with his father and grandfather. The movie turned out to be the biggest hit in his career and it was considered as a ‘cult classic’.

His next release Auto Nagar Surya did an average business and put him back on success streak. He is currently busy with Oka Laila Kosam directed by Vijaykumar Konda of Gundejaari Gallanthayyinde fame. Pooja Hegde is paired opposite to him in this Romantic entertainer.

As per the reliable reports, the young hero has signed another film which is to be directed by Sudheer Varma (Swamy Ra Ra fame). If the reports are to be believed, the movie has been titled as Maayagadu and Kriti Sanon of 1- Nenokkadine fame will be playing the female lead in this crime comedy flick.

Let’s hope Chaitu continues this success streak and gets into the league of star heroes very soon.
