K.Balachander's Son Bala Kailasam No More

K.Balachander is one of the most gifted filmmakers of South India. He has given many memorable films in Telugu such as Anthuleni Kadha, Maro Charitra, Rudraveena, Akali Rajyam and known for his best characterizations. The talented filmmaker lost his son Bala Kailasam yesterday in a sad demise. Bala has been undergoing treatment for pneumonia and sadly died of lung failure. He has been in Apollo Hospital Chennai and breathed his last yesterday at 1:30 PM. 

Bala Kailasam has been instrumental in looking after his father's Television Productions such as Guppedu Manasu and Marma Desam which earned good accolades in Telugu as well. He was married to Geetha and the couple has two children- Vishnubala and Vaishalini. 

Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth was aghast with the news and expressed his condolences from the sets of Lingaa and the actor is expected to attend the last rites event.
