Mega Heroes Become Villagers

August 22, 2014 - 12:18 PM IST Ram Charan | Govindhudu Andari Vaadele

The fancy and urge to live life the modern way and move to the cities has grown so high that a thought about a native village seems like a distant memory. This nostalgia is often stirred through films and right now the mega heroes seem to be determined to give that slice of countryside and beautiful memories.

Generally, such movies are filled with elements of family bonding and values. The first look posters of the mega films are conveying that. For instance, the first look of Govindudu Andari Vaadele came with a village look and Ram Charan looked at his best.

Now, another film Mukundaa marking the debut of Varun Tej also came with a similar look. However, Mukundaa is not a rural backdrop film, it is an urban entertainer but the first poster look carried that native feel. That way, by getting into the village environment, the mega heroes are giving the right kind of nostalgia.
