The tradition of Tollywood and Kollywood sharing each other’s cast, crew and stories is as old as the dinosaurs. But most of the times, the Tamil films tend to land in Telugu through a dubbed format. However, one Tamil film is now preparing to be shaped up in remake mode in Telugu and this is slated to be a thriller.
The film is Arima Nambi and this has Vikram Prabhu, grandson of Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan, along with Priya Anand of Leader fame. It is an edge of the seat thriller which got very good response at the box office. Now, the Telugu version will reportedly be made by the Manchu camp.
Reports say Mohan Babu has decided to remake the film and as expected, his son Manchu Vishnu would be reprising the role of Vikram Prabhu. Now that their original products are not selling much, let us hope this Sambar thriller brings the much needed success to the Manchu camp. Further details will be revealed soon.
