The world of Telugu Cinema is not just about entertainment but also about huge business stats. Whenever a film is released, lot of stakes happen between producers to sell their film for a good rate to distributors. Besides the success business, however, if the film flops- the losses incurred on distributors is more than producers of the respective film. There were even incidents where some distributors attempted suicide due to the losses incurred. In fact, when a recently released big film stumbled at the Box Office, a distributor from Nellore attempted suicide!
In order to put an end to this imbalanced system, distributors and producers of Tollywood are trying to arrive on an understanding. Eminent producers Allu Aravind and Dil Raju are facilitating the process. Inside sources say that the concerned meeting would propose a 80-20 deal wherein if a film flops, 20% losses will be beared by the distributors while the producers should bear 80% of the losses.
We will have to wait and see the outcome of the meeting and how it would influence the Film Industry's business.
