Even a tot knows Anushka is one of the leading heroines of South Indian cinema. But perhaps she is the first one to flash for any director who dreams of a lady oriented flick.

Right from Arundhati, Anushka has been the first choice of filmmakers especially for meaty heroine centric films. And with films like Vedam, Panchakshari, Nagavalli, Varna, Rudramadevi even Anushka has proved why she is the most sought-after actress in the town. At a point, she was considered for Kahaani Telugu remake and UV Creations were ready to make yet another historic subject titled 'Bhagmati' with Anushka.

Now according to inside sources, Kovelamudi Prakash Rao, the son of legendary director K Raghavendra Rao has narrated a heroine-centric story to Anushka and is just waiting for her nod. Even this story is believed to be a high-budgeted magnum opus.

Earlier Prakash made Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and even Lakshmi Manchu got a break through as an actress with the film. Guess this project with Anushka also materializes now! She is currently busy shooting for Gautam Menon’s film.
