Plot:

Smart and super intelligent Vishwa (Allari Naresh) meets Jahnavi (Esha) and decides to avenge upon Makarandam (Thanikella Bharani), businessman Seshagiri Rao (Rao Ramesh) and politician Bhale Babu (Posani). Why Vishwa had to avenge Jahnavi's story and how did Vishwa do it forms the plot of the story.

Performances:

Allari Naresh: You will not see the usual animated Naresh with satirical spoofs, punch oneliners and all that stuff. You get to see Naresh with a different shade and at his best in performance.

Esha: This girl is gorgeous but was unfortunately pertained to a limited role.

Thanikella Bharani: This acting great is seen in a role with different mannerisms.

Rao Ramesh: This versatile actor is seen in yet another different character. His dialogue delivery and mannerism amuses us.

Posani: He adds his trademark comic touch to villany and entertains us.

Sampoornesh Babu: He is a value addition to this story but he gives his best to the limited role.

The rest of the cast including Srinivas Avasarala, Subhalekha Sudhakar and others did a decent job.

Direction:

Ashta Chemma & Golconda High School fame Mohan Krishna Indraganti comes up with a comical revenge drama this time.
He has in a way experimented with a star like Allari Naresh. He was extremely loyal to his storyline and he etched a sensible and logical drama with engaging performances.
He unarguably surprises the audience who expects an out and out laugh riot. He executes a good line but the lethargic narration does the damage for the film.

What if we say there is not even one hilarious moment in an Allari Naresh's film? Bandipotu dares to offer us this.

First half: With an intriguing introduction, the film promises more. Allari Naresh, Thanikella Bharani and Rao Ramesh engage us.

Interval Bang: The pre interval episode was intriguing enough to watch out for the second half.

Second half: Some lackadaisical comedy, flawed writing affects the film and of course Posani, Sampoornesh and Shraddha Das' item song could not give you a reason to be glued.

Merits:

- Performance of Allari Naresh, Rao Ramesh& Thanikella Bharani.
- Good cinematography and editing.
- Decent Background score.
- Classy and sensible treatment and dialogues might impress family audiences.

Demerits:

- Lack of hilarious comedy content might disappoint Allari Naresh fans.
- Insipid screenplay in the second half

Music:

Kalyani Koduri gives a pleasing music but the background score wasn't impressive enough.

Others:

The much anticipated item song by Shraddha Das is decent enough.

Verdict:

Bandipotu is an Indraganti Mohankrishna mark suspense drama than an Allari Naresh mark laugh riot - A good one time watch.
