All of you are aware of the manner in which the real estate prices have boomed in Hyderabad over the last two decades. In that aspect, buying a piece of land in an area like Jubilee Hills or Filmnagar is simply impossible. At a time like that, the senior writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna had a jackpot which he missed sorely.
Well, it came as an offer from the movie mogul Ramanaidu. Revealing about it, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna mentioned how Ramanaidu was willing to offer a 600 yards land the premium filmnagar area if Gopalakrishna and his brother Venkateswara Rao could direct one of his projects.
For some reason, the Paruchuri Brothers could not take up that assignment and that’s how they ended up losing that golden piece of land. If only they had it with them now, it would have been worth several crores.
