All of you are well aware that a cinema theatre comes under the vertical of the entertainment industry and it could be privately owned or a company owned. But there is one theatre which has been grabbing headlines for a while and now it looks like this might fall under the segment of state government.

We are talking about the famous Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai which has been screening the evergreen love story Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge. Recently, the theatre management decided to stop screening the film after running it for 1009 weeks but public demand has stopped them from doing so.

In view of this, some are saying that maybe the tourism department will take control of the theatre for that show. An agreement between Yashraj films, Maratha Mandir management and tourism department is likely to take place so that the film would be played permanently and audience can relish the romantic treat forever.
