Mega Powerstar's film goes Kollywood

February 26, 2015 - 12:20 PM IST Ram Charan | Govindhudu Andari Vaadele

Tamil heroes like Suriya, Vishal (excluding Rajinikanth & Kamal Haasan) have a significant market in Tollywood and even if some do not have, our producers keep dubbing Tamil movies frequently. Of late, Dhanush has developed a decent following with the hit of Raghuvaran B.tech. Now, our smart Telugu producers have pulled out all his previous Tamil hits and are releasing them.

But on the flip side, our heroes and producers have never totally concentrated on penetrating into the Tamil market. Usually, our films rather get dubbed into Hindi and are telecasted back to us. It is only recently that we started releasing films in Tamil and heroes like Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas have some releases earlier. But Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are the forerunners in this aspect. While Allu Arjun enjoys a huge fan base in Malayalam, Ram Charan seems to be concentrating on Kollywood.

As per latest reports from Chennai, Ram Charan’s recent film Govindudu Andari Vadele is getting dubbed into Tamil as Rafi Mathir Ramleela by Ipher International. The producers were apparently impressed with the storyline, taking of Krishna Vamsi and have hence volunteered to dub this film into Tamil and release shortly. Further details of the project are expected shortly.

Wish this film impresses our Tamil thambis and surges up the market for the Mega Powerstar.
