During October 2014, a very significant incident took place in Tollywood and it was the 25 year completion of the cult blockbuster Shiva which created a new era in Telugu cinema. During the celebration, the film’s hero Akkineni Nagarjuna announced that the film would be restored with today’s technology and re-released.
Many expected the film to release in the next two months after the event but that didn’t happen. However, here is the good news. As per inside reports, the sound restoration is done by 70 percent and the film would be hitting the screens in the month of April 2015.
The objective behind this re-release is to show today’s youngsters what they have missed and that too with today’s latest sound effects. Directed by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma, Shiva is an evergreen movie which has been written with golden letters in the history of Tollywood.
