We know Indian films don't explore much into subjects like sex and ofcourse homosexuality is big taboo for us. Keeping aside the viewership, our filmmakers fear the headache of certification.

Moreover, India has recently voted against gay rights and homosexuality in the UN also. Amidst all this, a poor filmmaker has made a film on religion and especially Homosexuality.

Going into details, Unfreedom movie is an upcoming Indian film directed and produced by Raj Amit Kumar that largely revolves around religion and homosexuality. Now CBFC has denied certification to this film fearing the film will provocative and evoke unusual passions.

The filmmaker has now sought the help of court to issue clearance to release his film. Hope this Unfreedom gets freedom - fingers crossed!
