It has been a great journey with Trivikram: Allu Arjun Special Interview

April 08, 2015 - 07:29 PM IST Allu Arjun | Trivikram Srinivas

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is known for his high voltage performances, electrifying dance moves and great screen presence. He has been adept in choosing interesting scripts with a good blend of commercial values as well as good performance scope. After the brilliant success of Race Gurram last year, the actor is all set to entertain the audience once again with S/o Satyamurthy releasing tomorrow. Incidentally, today is his birthday! On this dual occasion, here is an iQlik exclusive interview with the actor:

Hello Bunny.. many happy returns of the day!
Hi.. Thanks a lot!

You seem to look ultra stylish in your latest film S/o Satyamurthy. Is there any special reason for it?
Not really. In fact, I looked more stylish in my previous film Iddarammayilatho. S/o Satyamurthy is more story and character driven than appearances.

Did you take any special care to change your appearance to suit the character in S/o Satyamurthy?
I did not get into any drastic makeovers but tried my best to suit the decency levels of the character I adorned.

This is your second film with Maatala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas. How do you feel working with him once again?
It has been a privilege to work with him once again. I always gave him the first preference and then the script he penned. He is indeed a witty genius and I am relishing this journey with him every moment.

There seem to be certain similarities for S/o Satyamurthy with Trivikram’s earlier film Attarintiki Daaredi. Your comment?
I think it is unfair to compare these two films. They just belong to a similar genre. I personally felt it is the right film for me after a commercial mass entertainer like Race Gurram.

It is true that your son Ayaan will be seen in S/o Satyamurthy?
(Smiles) No! He is just an infant.. there is still lot of time for him to get into showbiz world.

How was it working with three different female leads in S/o Satyamurthy?
I would tell about each of them individually as it makes more sense. Samantha is a very good actress and a great human being while Nitya knows what suits her best and excels in it. And Adah is extremely talented but sadly we couldn’t utilize her complete skills in this film.

You have delivered some smashing hit numbers with Devi Sri Prasad since Arya days. How do you feel working with him again for S/o Satyamurthy?
DSP is a powerhouse of talent. He can compose a mass number as well as a slow melody with equal perfection and ease. In short, Devi knows exactly what I need for my films.

What is your opinion on rewards and records for heroes?
We do care about rewards and records as they give a special recognition factor and more confidence to work. But it doesn’t mean our talent is dependent on it. The least we can do is to expect good recognition.

How is Brahmanandam’s role going to be in S/o Satyamurthy?
He is going to rock the show. It is indeed very difficult to match his energy levels and comedy timing.

Your comment on magnum opus Baahubali?
It is indeed a proud moment for Telugu Cinema to have a film like Baahubali. Hats off to the film’s team for their hard work and dedication to take Telugu films to a new level.

Please tell us about your other project Rudramadevi..
I just did what Gunasekhar told me to do.  He had  great clarity in what he wanted from me.

It has been great to see you in Twitter at last. How do you feel to enter in social media?
My brother Sirish has always been insisting that I come in Twitter and I am glad I could finally make it. Hope to be in regular touch with my fans from now on!

Okay.. wishing you the best for S/o Satyamurthy!
Thank you very much!
