The culture of remaking films is quite prominent in the entertainment industry but then there are times when certain subjects are real life based and each filmmaker has got his own perspective about it. One such chapter is that of the infamous forest brigand Veerappan and here is an update.
In the year 2013, a bilingual in Tamil/Kannada titled as Vana Yuddham, Attahasa respectively was made and this was on Veerappan. This had action king Arjun as DGP Vijay Kumar, the man responsible for killing Veerappan. Now, another movie is gearing up to hit the floors on the notorious Veerappan once again.
This is being helmed by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma but there is a twist. This movie will be from the cop’s perspective and that role would be essayed by top Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar. If you can recall, the famous Hollywood movie Zero Dark Thirty is not about Bin Laden. It is how he was killed.
Similarly, RGV’s movie is not about Veerappan, it will be from Vijay Kumar’s point of view. Inside news is that this film would have the popular Rajkumar captivity scenes and other important incidents.
