Brahmi to Act as a Rat!

Telugu Cinema was always versatile and entertaining in the comedy front thanks to one and only Brahmanandam. He has been entertaining Telugu people with his comedy roles nearly since two decades with versatile roles for every film. It is a fact that many filmmakers bank on Brahmanandam alone to decide the success of their respective films. His mere presence on screen is enough to generate laughter in theatres!

After a series of trademark comedy roles, apparently the actor has decided to do something different now. Yes! Brahmi will be see as a rat for his upcoming film Eluka Majaka directed by the yesteryear comedy director Relangi Narasimha Rao. This director has given some wonderful films during early 90s such as Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam, Police Bharya which are termed to be modern comedy classics. This new experimental film can be termed as a comeback for the talented director as well. It would be interesting to note that Eluka Majaka is based on a novel named 'Eluka Vacche Illu Bhadram' written by Murali Mohan Rao.

Till now we have witnessed Brahmanandam in roles which involve no dialogue at all (Vinodam) and a film crazy goon (Money) but this is the first time he would be seen acting as an animal. Perhaps, Relangi Narasimha Rao was inspired by Rajamouli's Eega and gained confidence in taking up such interesting project!
