After that, it was heard that he was working on the Hindi remake of Happy Days under Salman Khan’s production but here is an interesting buzz about this filmmaker. Can you believe if we say he is penning down a script for Superstar Mahesh Babu?
Sekhar Kammula rarely worked with big stars except Nayantara (in Anaamika) [And of course Rana is a star now]. And that too, scripting for someone like Mahesh Babu is no joke. Neither Mahesh can experiment now nor do fans usually expect Shekar Kammula mark films from the Superstar. Yes… Telugu cinema needs sensible films but can Sekhar Kammula mix sensible stories commercially? This is the biggest question that shall arise in the mind of any average cinegoer! Meanwhile, Mahesh’s Srimanthudu is hitting the screens this August 7 and Brahmotsavam will board the floors this July after which Mahesh will be working with Puri Jagannadh.
Well we have survived many catastrophic films and combinations. This is definitely not one of those. So, let us hope and wish this speculation turns true and we’ll witness this rare magic on screen someday!
