Though our language is Telugu and our films have a very different flavor in comparison with Tamil, the nexus between Tollywood and Kollywood has been strong. A lot of films, actors, technicians keep shuttling between both circuits as part of different projects. Now, one film seems to be bridging the gap further.
We are talking about the magnum opus Baahubali and some are deriving a link between this film and the Tamil movie Enthiran which came as Robo in Telugu. Apparently, when Enthiran was released in Tamil Nadu, it occupied more than 90 percent of the theatres across the entire state.
Now, the same situation is happening for Baahubali wherein more than 90% of the theatres in both Telugu states would be having this film. The Chennai folks state that Baahubali is just like Enthiran for them and they are expecting this magnum opus would create some historic records at the box office.
