Cinema Chupistha Maava is an upcoming romantic comedy starring the hit pair Raj Tarun and Avika Gor in lead roles. This fun loving duo already scored a hit with Uyyala Jampala and all set to entertain the audience once again. The relaxing album begins with Ye Kshanam sung well by Dhinker and penned effectively by Bhaskarabhatla. The thumping rhythm adds much vigor to this feel good melody and offers a good start for the fun filled moments. The interludes are effectively layered between strings and contemporary sequencing topped with cool rap sections.
Pilli Kalla Papa is a funky number sung by the composer Sekhar Chandra himself. The track has lot of hilarious moments and wittiness in terms of the lyrics as well as orchestration. The trendy electric guitar riffs in between blend well with the desi styled trumpets. Interludes touch the mesmerizing world of fusion and uber coolness throughout.
Breeziness gets a neat definition with Ee Velalona supported well by acoustic guitar and yesteryear rhythm section. The track has a nostalgic touch throughout with a strange flavor of hilarity. The soothing guitar and whistle sounds in the interlude offer a graceful move.
Mama O is a folksy number sung by Simha who is the master of such compositions. The track begins with a funky interpretation of Vemana poem leading to an entertaining track supported well indigenous percussions and high energy levels. This track strangely has resemblance with the chartbuster Cinema Chupistha Maama from Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram.
It is time for an emotional solo Vellake comprising of slightly amateurish vocals by Lucky Raj. This track has impressive chord progression and poetic lyrics impacting the listener in right proportions. One can feel a mellowed meditative spirit while hearing this wonderful number.
The album hits a finale with Tholi Tholi- a feel good female solo sung by the talented Ramya Behara. The feisty lyrics by Krishna Chaitanya are put to good use by the composer’s peppy tune. The bass work makes its front seat throughout the composition thereby adding a new thump.
Verdict:
Cinema Chupistha Maava is a fun filled album from Sekhar Chandra. It may not reach the musical brilliance of Uyyala Jampala which had the same pair, but it does create an enjoyable impact on the listener.
