But here is one project which is barely two weeks old and it has already created new records in terms of collections. We are talking about the magnum opus Baahubali.
Interestingly, the film is yet to complete its circle of full collections but it is already creating waves across the box office. The add-on to that is, though it is a Telugu film, it is causing ripples across other languages. After beating the Bollywood’s best, it now appears Baahubali will blast Tamil cinema records as well.
As per the latest reports from Kodambakkam, Shankar directorial I stands first with 8.82 crores gross collection at the end of third weekend. Baahubali is right behind with 5.52 crores and the prediction is that it will overtake I by next weekend. Meanwhile, Baahubali is already in number one position in terms of show count. This is indeed a moment of pride for all Telugus then.
