The youthfully fresh entertainer Bangalore Days made everyone in India look for Malayalam cinema with utmost respect and adoration last year. This film speaks of simple pleasures, relationship troubles and a perfect coming of age movie. With a strong star cast such as Dulquer Salman, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Fazal and Nivin Pauly, the film became a sensation all around. Naturally, this drew attention for other neighboring film industries such as Kollywood and Tollywood to remake this amazing film.

While the Telugu version of Bangalore Days is yet to hit the sets as casting needs to be confirmed, the Tamil version is swiftly progressing with respect to filming. The film stars talented actor Arya, Rana in the lead along with Jigarthanda fame Bobby Simha as well. However, the title for this version is annouced as ADMK(Arjun Divya Matrum Karthik) which led to several objections in Tamil Nadu. The main reason for objection is because, the title resembled the political party name AIADMK headed by CM Jayalalithaa. Though the filmmakers clarifed it saying that the title has nothing to do with political references and the acronym is just made from the first letters of the four lead characters in the flick, the objections continued.

We will have to see whether the filmmakers retort by looking for an alternative title for their anticipated remake or go ahead with this existing title!
