Jagapathi Babu, the manly and family hero of Tollywood has also been credited with a title “Jr Sobhan Babu” – thanks to his versatile romantic dramas with a minimum of two leading ladies. After a career span of 25yrs, while most actors prefer to play in the safe zone, Jaggu Bhai has explored a new path and turned inspirational even now.

Fortunately, his detour with Legend movie gave new oxygen to 'villain' characters in the industry and recently his performance in Srimanthudu as Mahesh’s father added a feather in his cap. On a personal front, Jaggu Bhai aka Jagapathi Babu is known for his honesty and straightforwardness and above all, his life deserves to be made into a biopic.

Well, none other than JB realized this and with no further delay, he planned to showcase his life journey on small screen through a Tele-film called Samudram. This telefilm talks of his journey in films, hits, flops, the light and dark shades of his life etc. Interestingly, Jagapathi Babu himself narrates the entire plot in the telefilm and it also portrays his life style on/off screen. The main objective behind this telefilm is to educate, encourage and inspire the youth about overcoming stress, failures and facing life. Senior film journalist Vamshi Chandra Vattikuti is providing script for this telefilm and latest reports add that a popular channel gave its nod to air this telefilm.

On a whole, it is going to be the first of its kind in Indian television history to showcase a hero’s life journey through a telefilm and the entire Telugu world is eagerly looking forward to this!
