Tollywood is an abode of multi-talented personalities. But unlike actors/producers/directors, it is rare to find multi-talented lyricists. You might know lyricists are good singers but there can be exceptional singers too. Even if you can’t agree with us, you would certainly when you see ace lyricist Chandrabose!
We know Chandrabose is good at singing but recently he surprised one and all with his prowess. He delivered his first full-fledged stage performance in a singing talent show in a prominent channel. He sang the song “Andari Raathalu Raasevadu…” from the movie Anandhini and zipped the mouths of many naysayers.
Lyricists usually have a penchant for singing but some are quite serious about whatever they do and Chandrabose belongs to this rare breed. While the naysayers pose a bitter lip for this feat, industry onlookers and Chandrabose fans have a question for them - “When heroes and others who have zero knowledge about music can sing with the help of technology, why can’t a lyricist with command over lyrics, good music sense and passion for singing?”
Well it is high time we can expect some mainstream professional singing from the eminent lyricist!
