Teja's Controversial Comments on Mahesh!

With Mahesh Babu’s latest release Srimanthudu, the concept of village adoption has become a big buzzword in the Tollywood tinsel town. Including the lead actors Mahesh Babu and Shruti Hassan adopting villages, there were many more film personalities who were coming forward to do this noble act. While everybody rejoiced this decision and took it as an optimistic step towards a good future for Telugu films, one filmmaker disagrees with it!

He is none other than director Teja who rose from scratch by his first blockbuster youth film Chitram. During a press meet for his upcoming film Hora Hori, one of the journalists asked about the village adoption trend going on in Tollywood now. The peculiar director replied without hesitation saying that the real motive behind village adoption is only for income tax waive! Teja even targeted Mahesh Babu straight saying that if he really wanted to do service to the nation, he should have began it with his Okkadu film days itself!

Teja is known for his sharp tongue and straightforwardness as far as expressing opinions is concerned. However, it is shocking to see him make such snide remarks on Mahesh because they both worked together on a corruption themed film called Nijam.
