Shivam is an upcoming action entertainer starring Ram and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Music for this flick is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and directed by Srinivas Reddy. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:
The feisty album begins with Shivam Shivam penned effectively by Bhaskarabhatla and sung in a filled manner by Karthik. The bass work is quite racy and coupled well with impressive rhythm section. DSP experiments with new sounds and entertaining elements with this track. The lyrics also speak of optimism and success mantra of the hero in a uber cool manner.
Prema Ane Pichi is a typical folksy number which DSP churns out so well always. The foot tapping rhythms blend effectively with the powerful vocals by Narendra. The funky sounding treble sounds join the feast with sultry trumpets and enjoyable moments.
A cool duet in the name of I Love you too arrives in great vigor possessing good string section, and energetic rhythm loop. Yazin Nazir and Sameera do a wonderful job in rendering this number with vigor and amazing trendiness.
Andamaina Lokam is another breezy duet with sweet vocals and DSP mark trumpets along with great aura. The song has irresistible resemblance to Ninnu Choodagane- Attarintiki Daaredi but also carries its own individual essence in good perfection. The interludes are effectively laced with mastery of strings which us usually seen in DSP’s songs.
The album gets an inevitable mass touch with Gunde Aagi Pothandhe which sustains the overall energy quite convincingly. Peppy lyrics along with Hemachandra and Mansi’s gripping vocals make it an enjoyable hearing. It undoubtedly gives a commercial dimension for the album as well.
Verdict:
Shivam can be termed as another optimistic album from the cool combo of Ram and Devi Sri Prasad! The songs are catchy and would sure strike a chord with class as well as mass audience.
