September 19, 2015 - 06:06 PM IST Baahubali

The young and creative cinematographer Senthil Kumar was heaped greatest praises for his work in the magnum opus Baahubali created by S.S.Rajamouli. He did a remarkable job in bringing life to the epic through his visuals. Every shot of the film ranging from the waterfalls, the king’s royal court till the war scenes remained a visual spectacle in Baahubali thanks to him. Now, the cinematographer got a golden chance to work for Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol starrer Dilwale!

However, Senthil is working for only one song in the film which is being shot between the hit jodi SRK- Kajol in the sets of Ramoji Film City. The shooting for Baahubali-2 is due from November and he wouldn’t get more time once he starts the same. In order to make the best usage of free time now, Senthil accepted this golden offer!

It is a well known fact that Senthil was roped in as a cinematographer for Salman’s Dabangg 2 and participated in the shooting for a week but walked off it because of certain creative differences.  Let us hope this new opportunity would take Senthil to newer heights of popularity!
