Today is a crucial day for Kollywood as the Nadigar Sangam (Tamil actors association) elections are taking place in Chennai. Right from Superstar Rajnikanth to young fledgling actors, most of the actors have casted their votes in the early hours this Sunday.

According to sources, the polling will be concluded today and the results will be declared tomorrow (Oct 19). Unlike the previous term, this election saw Sarath Kumar’s (the current president) panel and Vishal’s panel making strong allegations and statements over each other and the recent verbal war between Vishal & Simbu turned the situation even murkier.

This election is actually triggered by the allegations made by Vishal’s panel on Sarath Kumar’s over the issue of lease agreement with Sathyam cinemas. In this context, Sarath Kumar already filed a defamation suit of Rs 10 Cr against hero Vishal that heated up the environment and made the elections more interesting. Well the present elections are going to determine the power center in the Nadigar Sangam and to know that we need to wait for one more day.
