The national award winning actress Shwetha Basu Prasad made a modest beginning in Tollywood with a remarkable hit Kotha Bangaru Lokam which proved her brilliant talent on screen. Her portrayal as a dreamy young girl in her tender teenage years won many hearts in Telugu Lands. However, she couldn’t sustain her career with promising following up projects.
Later on, a talented actress like her was more confined to glamorous roles and dance performances for award shows. To make things even more worse, she was caught in a sex racket which raised many eyebrows. There were people who supported her in this including Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. She later worked with the filmmaker for a short film which starred Radhika Apte. Shwetha also overcame such struggle and pressure situation by coming out boldly and speaking about it with confidence.
Now, she made another positive step in her career by trying out chances in small screen. Then she got the much needed call from the popular reality show Big Boss. Shwetha will be now seen in Big Boss 9 and just like many other celebrities who were part of it, let us hope she also finds a good break!
