The cold war between Cinema and Press has been there since times immemorial. Unless these two powerful media houses co exist and work with cordial approach, it is detrimental to both. However, this constant clash goes haywire when things get out of control. Energetic hero Ram’s Nenu Sailaja which released on New Year’s Eve has become a latest target for this now.
TV5, a popular Telugu tv new channel has been spreading negative talk on the film right from the day one and was making videos which spoke about the drawbacks of the film. However, an employee named Naveen deleted some videos from TV5 YouTube channel which led him to be fired from the job. Hero Ram was appreciative of Naveen’s help and said that he would pay the salary until the former gets a job.
Naveen has been humble enough to politely refuse the offer. While things are still heated up, TV5 published a damaging article on Ram again saying that the desperation of the actor to make his mediocre film hit is laughable. The article also said that it is unethical of Ram to support an employee who violated the rules of the media by deleting videos without permission.
We will have to wait and see what Ram will be reacting to this!
