Maharashtra Government and Mumbai Police took a surprising decision to withdraw security for Bollywood top actors including Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Coming to the details, Mumbai Police took a decision of withdrawing the Police personnel from 40 members to 2 armed personnel for each celebrity. They revealed about this decision was taken after their regular security audit and also mentioned that Police manpower is going wasted by the excessive allocation of members.
They also listed out the security measures are providing to 15 members and previously it was for 40 celebrities. However there was other speculation coming out that Aamir’s and Shah Rukh’s intolerance statements were the reason for this security withdrawal.
Anyways Police denying this version and they did this according to their regular procedures.
