Baahubali is a hurricane that came, hit, conquered and gone but left the audience wanting for more. Fortunately it is just ‘The Beginning’ and best is yet to come. Baahubali is now set to conqueror foreign lands with its international version.
Trade pundits predict that Baahubali The Beginning which stood as the 3rd biggest grosser after Aamir Khan’s PK & Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan now needs Rs 200 crores to emerge as the highest grossing film in the history of Indian cinema. The 70mins international version of Baahubali cut by Vincent Tabaillon is reportedly quite different from the Indian version with additional shots and other essential embellishments. Keeravani has taken special care for the re-recording of this international version. Eminent distribution giant E-Star that has released PK earlier is releasing Baahubali in 6000 screens across China and trade pundits predict that with the merit of the film & the grand theatrical release, Rs 200 Cr shouldn’t be a great deal.
On top of this, if any star hero in China can promote the film then it would give an additional push to this magnum opus. Well seriously wishing Baahubali to break PK’s record and make us proud again.
