There was a time when cinema was treated as a medium of entertainment and there were no hard feelings but things have changed now thanks to few crooked individuals. Whenever a scene or a name or dialogue comes regarding a particular community, there is a major uprising.
Given that sensitivity, it does come as a surprise when a movie’s title comes with a caste touch. This is the situation with the new movie Arjun Reddy which has Vijay Devarakonda of Yevade Subramanyam fame as the hero. The first look of the movie was launched yesterday.
In the past, we have seen movies like Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu and others but there was never a hue and cry on that. But given today’s times, it has to be seen how Arjun Reddy is going to deal with things. The shooting is yet to commence and it is directed by Sandeep.
