Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest offering Brahmotsavam released on a promising note yesterday. The main reason for this mountain high expectations is because Mahesh has teamed up with Srikanth Addala after the super success of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. However, the film left many audience as well as fans disappointed for the mixed reviews.
Obviously, the mixed talk was reflected in the openings as well with just very mediocre openings for the film. According to the latest trade reports, day 1 share of the film is just Rs 13 crore with Nizam and AP combined. Moreover, the rain impact also seems to be worsening the collection figures in Andhra region and the Ceded region recorded some record low collections in mahesh's career.
This must be a shock for Mahesh Babu & Co especially after such anticipation and promotion. Despite Mahesh’s charming looks and feel good songs, the film wasn’t appreciated much because there was no strong storyline or powerful script.
