Making a big budget movie has turned to a biggest gamble for producers as well as distributors. If the risk succeeds, the profits are quite fetching but if it backfires, the loss incurred is terrible. Especially if a big budget film arrives with great expectations and doesn’t live to it, the impact is beyond words.
Mahesh Babu’s latest offering Brahmotsavam is in similar situation where the film failed miserably at the Box Office. Mahesh’s combination with director Srikanth Addala led to too much of expectations and with the film being mediocre, the audience couldn’t accept the result.
However, the producer Prasad V Potluri and hero Mahesh Babu decided to offer their helping hand to the film’s distributors by giving back Rs 12.5 crore and Rs 5 crore respectively to them. This is indeed an empathetic move by the film’s team to help the distributors who get the maximum damage.
